Lesotho - January 2019

We went on a trip with Francois Rossouw to Lesotho and before the tour we spent a night at the Golden Gate Highlands National Park. The plan was to leave earlier but during a storm our electricity supply failed and we wanted to make sure it was reconnected before we left on the trip.

As usual I am in a hurry to post some of the pictures as otherwise they lose their relevance for others. The reason for taking the pictures for us is to remember where we have been.

The map shows the route travelled in Lesotho fairly accurately except in one area where we disconnected the GPS to enable us to transmit on the radio. This resulted in a straight line north as if we were in an aeroplane.

During the trip we traveled around one thousand six hundred kilometers.

The pictures are often taken through the windscreen while we are moving and therefore I am happy they they turned out as well as they did.

The link below leads to some of the pictures I selected out of about two thousand five hundred.
